AGSRA has been busy! Our web site at www.agsra.org has been very well received and Travis is doing a wonderful job at keeping all information current. A HUGE thanks to Travis for putting AGSRA on social media. The links to AGSRA on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest are all at the bottom of our home page.
We have funded a number of GSD Rescues since the beginning of 2018; meet our Rescue of the Month, Tia!
Tia came to Golden State German Shepherd Rescue, located in the Bay Area of northern California, from the Manteca Animal Shelter where she was picked up as a stray. Miss Tia was found in very rough shape in the middle of
January. She is being treated for demodex due to flea allergies and she appears to have been injured by another animal. Tia loves people and thoroughly enjoys meeting other dogs even though she is not feeling well.
She is currently on medical hold, but will be available
soon. It is amazing to see the
transformation in this beautiful breed when they are giving some tender loving care!
The first two photos were taken on February 4th when GSGSR rescued Tia from
the shelter. The new picture was taken two weeks later at Golden State's recent Sacramento
Adoption Event. Tia is coming out of her shell and her coat is
growing back quickly. She was a bit shy but warmed up very quickly; Tia enjoyed meeting new people and was absolutely thrilled with all the love they showed her! Meet ... Tia!

ReplyDeleteHow can I become a forever home? My boy just passed away he was 19 and my husband passed i need a new companion preferably young for obedience classes I'm on disability and can't afford the high prices they are being sold at I would. Much wrather rescue a needy one
